In Foundation Hospital Rajana “Zenib Bashir Eye department” has been treated a lot of eye patient everyyear. They had given free medicine and eye drops to the poor and deserving people and also arranged twice a year free eye camp for the poor people.
In Foundation Hospital Chichawatni “Eye department” also has been treated a lot of eye patient every year. They had arranged free eye camp for the poor people every year and also given free medicine and eye drops to the poor and deserving people.
In Pakistan there is approximately four million blind people, 1.5 million in the Punjab region alone. If proper measures are not taken, that figure will reach three million by the year 2020.With cataracts accounting for 66 percent of all blindness and glaucoma 12 percent in the nation of 150 million, the need to improve preventative care is undeniable.
